Nobody is too young to be creative! Coop City St. Annahof organised a drawing contest for children in the run-up to the Summer Festival. The submitted colouring pages were scanned and combined to form a giant Tatzelwurm (a mythical, lizard-like creature), winding down the façade. Thus, the creative little ones can see their work at the Summer Festival.

A drawing contest and workshop for children has been held. Young talents from Switzerland, Spain, Germany and Great Britain took part and submitted their creative Tatzelwurm elements.
The Tatzelwurm and the background were designed by Studio Mensula in Catalonia. The four creative minds of Mensula combine illustration, photography, graphic and web design in their works.
Location
From clothing to foodstuffs, you will find everything under one roof at Coop City, the second largest department store chain in Switzerland. St. Annahof was built in 1912 to 1914 under contract from the «Food Association Zurich» (now Coop) on the former site of the St. Anna Chapel. The construction was based on the plans by the Pfister brothers and the Art Nouveau building is now a listed building. The sculptural works on the façade are by Otto Münch, Hans Mark Walder, Wilhelm Schwerzmann and Otto Kappeler.
