The three-dimensional installation with reflecting hemispheres fits the theme of «medicinal plants». The illustrations of traditional medicinal plants on shiny metallic hemispheres reflect the successful interplay of ancient medicinal plant tradition with modern production technology. The herb garden in the courtyard of the pharmacy with medicinal plants and the presentation of herbal medicinal products manufactured therewith give a deeper insight into the production of herbal medicinal products.
Artist
Dominik Strahlhofer, Formlabor, implements the three-dimensional installation on the façade. As a long-term artistic designer, he produces the original shop window display ideas of the chemist’s monthly.
Location
Producing a safe, effective and well tolerated product from traditional medicinal plants is an art. For over 60 years, herbal medicinal products have been manufactured at Dr Andres Stadelhofen chemist’s. The production of plant home specialities is a long, exciting journey, from organic farming in Switzerland, to harvesting the fresh plant and gentle processing to the finished plant medicinal products. The choice of the optimal pharmaceutical form and the high level of efficacy explain the great popularity of the Dr Andres home specialities.
